Meet Jeanette
Fairy Thread Fabric began with owner and mother, Jeanette Mata. While entering a season of learning and self understanding, she saw how important it was to rediscover herself while balancing motherhood and being a single mom.
For much of her life, Jeanette wasn’t sure what she truly enjoyed doing for herself. One day, she asked God for something to look forward to, and fabric came to mind. Although she knew very little about the craft, something about it drew her in. What began as a simple hobby of searching for beautiful fabrics soon became a creative outlet and a meaningful way for her to reconnect with herself.
Fairy Thread Fabric is a reflection of that journey. Through it, Jeanette hopes to show her daughter and other moms that it’s never too late to try something new, discover what brings you joy, and create something you can be proud of.
